Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 14, 2008

Titan Wood will be showing a range of products made from its Accoya wood at this year's Greenbuild Expo in Boston

Products will include decking, siding, doors and windows.

New manufacturing partner Bella Vista, a premium door and window division of Lowen, will be featured.

The U.S.Green Building Council hosts Greenbuild.

It is the nation's largest sustainable building conference.

Titan Wood is a member of the U.S.

Green Building Conference and supports its goal of using more sustainable building materials in construction, including wood.

The Bella Vista division of Loewen has chosen to offer its premier products in Accoya Wood.

This option will increase customer's choices with a highly durable, low maintenance wood with outstanding environmental credentials.

Every door and window built by Bella Vista is crafted with dedication to detail and quality by experienced craftsmen in a custom works factory.

Accoya is a "new wood species" produced from a range of certified sustainable wood species that undergo a non-toxic modification that gives the wood a 50 year guaranteed life, outstanding dimensional stability and many other benefits.

Among Accoya wood's benefits for door and windows are elimination of jamming issues in difficult weather conditions, paint or stain life increased by 3-4 times and greatly improved product durability due to fungus and damaging insect resistance.

Accoya is produced using wood from sustainably managed forests including Forest Stewardship Council certified sources.

The Accoya wood process greatly improves wood's carbon sequestration advantages by increasing its life using a very environmentally reasonable manufacturing process.
