A TimberWindows.com product story

TimberWindows.com has introduced a new suite of hand-oiled oak flush casement windows, entrance doors and French doors to its range of engineered timber products.

The new products are a direct response to strong customer demand.

The new windows and doors are hand finished with naturally based, solvent free wood oil to enhance the traditional character of the timber.

The result is a stunning, natural look that homeowners love.

"There are two variants," explains Managing Director Chris Brunsdon.

"A transparent oil finish and a dark oil finish.

"With both options there are fundamental differences compared to our fully factory-finished windows and doors.

"The oiled oak finish requires the homeowner to re-oil the outsides of the frames every six months.

"If they don't, the finish and performance of the frames will degrade.

"In addition natural oil doesn't protect against Ultra Violet rays so silvering, blackening and other variations in colour may occur.

"Surprisingly, this is what many customers find attractive about the frames and why it's a popular choice".

The new hand-oiled oak windows and doors are also available in dual colours, so homeowners have the flexibility to have a factory finished colour on the outside and a natural look inside or vice versa.
