Converted Victorian spice warehouse in the capital's East End has benefited from Titon trickle ventilators being fitted to all windows to help create the ideal living environment.

Creating good indoor air quality in refurbished buildings in the centre of London can sometimes be a problem.

However, a converted Victorian spice warehouse in the capital's East End has benefited from Titon trickle ventilators being fitted to all windows to help create the ideal living environment.

Cayenne Court, adjacent to Tower Bridge, is a prestigious development of 200 luxury apartments with views across the Thames.

Boyland Joinery, the window manufacturers for the project, chose to fit Titon Trimvent TV90 ventilators to all windows and French casement door sets to comply with Approved Document (Part) F of the Building Regulations, and ensure satisfactory background ventilation.

Cled Richardson of Boyland Joinery explains why: "The TV90 ventilator has the style and finish to compliment Boyland's windows.

It also uses the Titon Trimvent principle, which allows incoming air to be directed in all directions." He continued: "Titon has used this idea for more than 30 years, so we were confident that the ventilator would be the best for the job." Titon also supplied Boyland Joinery with Select Cockspur handles in silver to further compliment the windows and interior of the luxury apartments.

Cayenne Court was built by Business and Construction Services company Carillion Building.
