Health and Safety People 'Building The Dream'
The Health and Safety People successfully provided expert health and safety guidance on ITV's recently televised contestant challenge programme 'Building The Dream'.
As part of the service, company executives receive feedback in the form of statistics, including information on each specific area of counselling and the number of times employees use the service.
All other details, including identities, remain totally confidential.
Commenting on the new service John Thoday, Managing Director of The Health and Safety People, says, "At just £30 per employee per year, this new service offers outstanding value to businesses and yet will be increasingly highly valued by employees.
We use it ourselves and have found it highly beneficial.
I know one of my team benefited enormously from bereavement counselling.
While he appreciated the support at a very difficult time, it also helped him to ensure his work did not suffer either." For a very modest outlay, small to medium sized businesses can now offer their staff a benefit currently only available from the largest blue-chip businesses.
With every suggestion that stress is a growing problem throughout the UK, it is vital that staff receive support if they are to remain effective in their work.
Without effective measures to deal with work place stress, employees are increasingly vulnerable to stress related ill health and the businesses they work for are exposed to lower productivity, possible discontent, and the risk of legal action.
John Thoday adds, "Using our new counselling package as part of a wider health and safety programme encourages employees and managers to work together to control stress related problems to the benefit of all." The Health and Safety People's new stress counselling package costs £30 per employee per year.
The contract is payable and renewable on an annual basis and is available to all types of business with any number of employees.
