Tremco illbruck has developed a new and effective flameless system for the waterproofing of flat roofs The Hi-Trem NFR system requires no torch or flame and comprises a range of Tremco NFR Elastomeric Felts to provide a wide variety of specifications

These felts are manufactured from SBS modified bitumen to produce an integral waterproofing membrane that combines durability with exceptional strength.

The polyester core felts offer excellent puncture resistance and long term flexibility, rendering the system ideal for both new and replacement installation as well as warm or cold roofing specifications.

When compared with felts laid with hot oxidised bitumen, Hi-Trem NFR shows superior movement characteristics, demonstrating its flexibility for a wide range of roofs.

The system can be used over most conventional flat roof waterproofing, including metal, woodwool, concrete, timber and asphalt, as well as approved insulation boards.

The formulation of the system means that no special maintenance techniques are required to keep Hi-Trem NFR installations in good condition.

Hi-Trem NFR is available in three options - a mineral finish of grey or terracotta, a solar reflective finish in Tremco Aluminiser, or chippings.
