At the heart of the low profile system is a structural sub-assembly that is stable enough to resist compression but can be bent around corners.

It is covered by a moisture vapour barrier and a desiccated top coat that combine to keep the cavity dry, while the high performance adhesive on Duraseal's sides helps retain argon in gas-filled units as well as excluding moisture.
