Kwiklay completes Treadfast damp proof
offering

Product Manager for Flooring at Tremco Illbruck, John Newbury, explains: "The purpose of Treadfast Kwiklay is to complement our established range of damp proof products such as Treadfast One Coat Universal.
It will be utilised in applications where liquid applied membranes, for whatever reasons, may not be suitable.
This may be due to contamination or because the surface is of poor quality.
"We see the key applications being where there simply isn't the time to install a conventional damp proof membrane, perhaps where a shop or restaurant can only close overnight.
Kwiklay is also suitable for use where the concrete subfloor or screed contain underfloor heating pipes.
It is a very versatile product which can be laid on surfaces with relative humidity readings of up to 97 per cent (always refer to product literature)".
As a loose lay system, Treadfast Kwiklay is simple to remove at a later date.
Should the building occupant subsequently wish to change the flooring, the presence of the Treadfast Kwiklay allows contractors to take up the installed system just as quickly, presenting a surface in the same condition as at the time of covering.
