Compriband clean up movement joint

Compriband from Tremco illbruck are the preferred movement joints for architects and contractors when they need to control movement between floor zones.

One of the most demanding environments for movement joints are hospitals, says Alistair Inglis, one of Tremco illbruck's Technical Sales team.

As infection control is of high importance a maintenance free joint, with no voids for dirt accumulation is paramount.

Compriband All-Metal Aluminium profiles meet this need.

The profiles have the benefit of containing neoprene gaskets, which stop wash down fluids entering the joint and harbouring spores in areas that can not be cleaned so easily.

The gaskets also have the benefit of cushioning the object transiting the joint such as a Hospital beds, meaning that there is little or no "rattle", that is found on other systems.

Compriband Movement Joints have recently been used on Manchester Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital Oncology Centre in Hull, St James' Institute of Oncology and St Helen's Hospital projects.
