Everything architects or contractors need to know about mechanical movement joints is now provided on a new CD available from Tremco illbruck, manufacturers of the leading Compriband range.
Already available on Tremco illbruck's website and in binder format, the CD increases the versatility of information access.
When selecting a movement joint, there are both aesthetic and technical considerations to take into account.
Whichever profile is selected it has to be able to cater for various movements, bear the imposed loads, be durable and not constitute a trip hazard.
Consideration must be given to joint width, movement capability, profile depth, loading and the working environment.
