Tremco illbruck's Compriband 600 impregnated foam tape has been utilised as part of the rainscreen cladding system covering the Westfield Shopping Centre in North London.
The high performance, high modulus product was chosen for its ability to adapt to a variety of joint widths as well as its extremely user-friendly installation characteristics.

Installed to a 'stack-bonded' pattern, the individual panels of architectural masonry are attached to a series of metal sub-rails as a rainscreen system.
As an integral part of this process the contractor employed the Compriband 600 to form the perimeter seal, preventing wind driven rain from reaching the main face of the structure.
The Westfield Shopping Centre, located close to the BBC's White City site, incorporates more than 250 stores under one roof, including a number of brands new to the UK.
