Safety and Stability For Piling Rig Platforms
Safety and stability are of paramount importance for Royal Docks piling rig platforms with Tensar Geogrids.
The ethos of Tensar's Structural Solutions is that of offering complete solutions to a problem rather than just selling rolls of polymer geogrids.
Tensar has recognised that as sales have grown in overseas markets, support to the International Area Managers and Distributors needs to be increased in a highly competitive market.
Peter comments, "The challenge is to take the method of Solution Selling and to apply it to a much higher proportion of our international operations so that even our remote offices can sell the solution and not just the product, giving increased value to our customers." Peter has overall responsibility of raising the global awareness of Tensar International as a Structural Solutions Provider.
Giving his personal view of the challenges facing the company, Peter adds, "As the geogrid market matures and more products of varying quality, track record and technical support become available, we need to reaffirm ourselves as the company that engineers immediately think of when designing retaining walls or steep slopes, from concept to construction stage.
