Jonathan Cook has been promoted to the position of Design Services Manager at Tensar International

Jonathan Cook has been promoted to the position of Design Services Manager at Tensar International, worldwide leader in the provision and manufacture of best value solutions for soil reinforcement and ground stabilisation Craig Roberts, previously a Geotechnical Design Engineer at the company's headquarters in Blackburn moves to Jonathan's former position of Area Civil Engineer for North West England, North Wales and the Southern Ireland

Jonathan Cook comments: "The Design Services side of our business provides critical support both for our civil engineers in the field and for our clients".

"Our bank of knowledge on the applications of Tensar geogrids for soil stabilisation is unique".

"Being able to put together cost-effective solutions that offer time savings and environmental benefits over conventional techniques, for clients who may not have an in-depth understanding of the advantages of geogrids, is a reputation we enjoy." Craig Roberts adds: "I am looking forward to extending my experience gained in the Design Engineering team at Blackburn and applying it out in the field".

"The benefits of soil reinforcement and ground stabilisation techniques using geogrids are becoming more widely appreciated, and the breadth of application is very exciting." Jonathan Cook has been with Tensar 11 years, has a B.Eng (Hons) from Bolton Institute, and is based in Blackburn.

Craig Roberts has a B.Eng from Leeds University and a PgC in geotechnical engineering from Bolton Institute.

He has been with Tensar since 1998 and is now based in St Helens.
