In more than 25 years of pioneering development, manufacture and application of geogrids, Tensar International has depended on the professional commitment of its staff.
At the firm's recent reception to thank long service employees, CEO Jim Paul commented: "We salute the astonishing record that so many employees have been with us since we started in the early 80s - this is undoubtedly a major reason why we are leaders in the civil engineering world".
More than 20 Tensar employees, who have recently celebrated 20 years or more service, were presented with a personally selected, engraved watch by Jim Paul.
At the reception held in December at Tensar's Mill Hill HQ for the employees and their partners, Jim Paul - himself a recipient of the award - congratulated them: "While it's relatively unusual today, it shows that people enjoy working for us and also appreciate the company's commitment to them".
The awards went to people from all sections of the company, including Process Operators and Quality Control staff working at the Shadsworth site factory and Customer Services and Marketing employees based at Mill Hill.
Clive Taylor, Quality Control Manager, remembered when there was only a pilot plant at Shadsworth: "I never thought when I started at Albion Mill in February 1982 that I would be receiving a long service award 23 years later.".
