Toolstation accelerates branch expansion

Toolstation's latest warehouse and sales counter at Tipton, is open and ready to serve some 50,000 tradespeople in the Midlands.

It's the first in a series of future new branch openings with four more due to open around Greater London, Wales and the North by Easter 2008.

In only a year Toolstation will have doubled its number of branches throughout the UK and there are now three Toolstation branches open in The Netherlands as well.

The newest branch at Tipton is one of the largest at 10,000 sq.ft.

and like all other branches carries the full range of 10,000 product lines in stock.

As always, customers can choose to order by phone or online for delivery to site or picking-up at the branch.

A new facility just introduced by Toolstation enables customers to set up their order online with a unique reference code which is presented to the branch for immediate pick-up of stock items, saving customers even more time.

Whether it's plumbing, electrical, tools, fixings or hardware, Toolstation offers busy tradespeople the products that they need.

Current catalogue special offers include a cement mixer for only GBP156 (GBP30 less than usual) and a sliding compound mitre saw complete with stand and three blades for only GBP99.

With branches open seven days a week, all 10,000 catalogue items can be purchased from any of the Toolstation warehouse trade counters in Bristol, Bridgwater, Exeter, Yeovil, Fareham, Leeds, Manchester and now Tipton.
