Totty Awarded £5.3m Residential And
Retail Scheme
Northern-based main contractor, Totty Construction, has been awarded a £5.3 million project to build a mixed-use residential and retail development for Abbey Projects in Sheffield city centre.
The six-storey apartment block will be built on a derelict site adjacent to Sheffield cathedral, and feature 50 new apartments, basement car parking and four commercial units which wrap round the building at ground level The concrete framed building will be predominantly brick clad, but also includes stone detailing to ensure continuity with the surrounding historic buildings, which includes Sheffield's cathedral
