Totty Building Services picks up hat trick of school improvement schemes in Kirklees

Totty Building Services, the special projects division of Totty Construction, has been awarded a GBP700K project by Kirklees Metropolitan Council, to construct a new sports hall at Westmoor Junior School in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire This project closely follows two further school improvement schemes with Kirklees Council at Cleckheaton and Dewsbury, which were awarded to the contractor within the last six months

Construction of the stand alone, two-court, high specification sports hall with changing facilities has now commenced, with a completion date scheduled for January 2006.

Totty Building Services will also resurface and extend existing car parking at the school as part of the scheme.

The sports hall is set to provide Westmoor Junior School with a first rate leisure facility, which will also be open for public use out of school hours.

Philip Ryder, operations director for Totty Building Services, commented: "We have worked hard to develop an excellent working relationship with Kirklees Metropolitan Council over many years, which has paid off with an increasing quantity and quality of projects within the borough".

"Totty's ability to work to work sensitively within operationally live environments and to strict deadlines, delivering high quality building solutions continues to prove an attractive proposition for our clients.".
