Andrew Tooze Joins From Symonds

Andrew Tooze, former associate director of Symonds, has joined the structural consultancy team at TPS Consult.

He has been appointed associate director within the structural division and will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects to meet client requirements, with particular emphasise on health related projects.

Andrew has twenty-five years extensive practical experience in the design, construction and management of multi million pound projects in both the public and private sectors, and management of multi-disciplinary teams.

He has been responsible for the successful completion, within budget and on programme, of multi million pound projects in the health and education sectors, leisure industry, housing and transportation.

Andrew has gained an extensive working knowledge of procurement methods, PFI schemes, partnering arrangements and risk assessments.

He was the project manager on the UK's first PFI hospital, Darent Valley hospital, Dartford, value ?90 million.

Andrew is 49 years old and is married with two children.

Andrew is a lover of motorbikes and enjoys watching his local motorbike team compete at the speedway at weekends.
