TPS Appointed By The Crown Office And

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) has appointed TPS Consult, the construction and project management consultancy, to provide managerial and technical support to the Head of Estate

COPFS is responsible for ensuring that all crimes are properly investigated and where applicable, presented in court The agency is also responsible for investigating the circumstances of sudden deaths

The department comprises of 11 business areas overseeing 48 District Procurator Fiscal offices in Scotland.

The six-month project includes the internal reconfiguring of offices in Dundee, Perth, Falkirk and Dumbarton, converting working areas to open plan environments.

This involves close liaison with the on-site staff in order to reflect their working arrangements and coordinate the works, as the offices have to stay operational throughout.

TPS interior design team will take the design lead role, with TPS Schal providing project sponsor/project management roles for COPFS.

TPS Consult will also provide civil, structural and M and E (mechanical and electrical) design for the project.

Ken Howells, Associate Director, of TPS Schal said: "This is an opportunity for TPS to create interior designs and provide modern office environments that embody the client's aspirations.".
