TPS Consult, the professional services division of Carillion Plc, has started work on a project to convert, extend and refurbish the Victorian swimming baths in Birmingham.
Construction Is Not Just A Man's Domain
One year on and female graduates prove that Construction is not just a man's domain.
The seminar, being staged at 3M's headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire, is again being organised by TPS Consult, the UK's largest security and counter-terrorism consultancy, and Durable Berkeley, the leading window film supplier.
All major western businesses, located both in the UK and overseas, recognise the need to evaluate the threats to them and their assets and to take appropriate actions.
This seminar will enable those with responsibility for business continuity, securing assets and protecting people, to relate the current threat to their scenario, and begin the process of understanding the nature of that threat and the options available.
The keynote speech will be given by a representative from the National Counter Terrorism Security Office.
This will be followed by Chris Bowes, from TPS Consult, who will relate that threat to the UK today.
Chris, who has over 20 years' experience in security and counter terrorism, recently gave a similar presentation to the Australian Security Industry Association (ASIAL) at its 2004 conference in Sydney.
TPS Consult has provided design advice for many notable public buildings both in the UK and abroad, including all British Embassies through a framework agreement for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Ian Penfold from Durable Berkeley will be another speaker.
Durable is Europe's longest established window film company and has been working with the Government's key security bodies for the past 30 years, holding various term contracts for over 20 years.
Other speakers to be confirmed.
