Shepherd Joins TPS Flock
Katherine Shepherd joins TPS Consult's Croydon office as a graduate engineer, following completion of a four-year Masters degree in structural engineering with architecture from Manchester University.
She will be working initially on the University of Hertfordshire project, training in the use of special software and computer modeling During the past two summer holidays when studying, Katherine worked as a student engineer for TPS Consult, which gave her a real hands-on understanding of what a structural engineer, and TPS as a construction consultancy, does
TPS Consult is leading the way in breaking down the male domination of the construction industry.
64 of the total 340 staff at TPS Consult are female - nearly 20 per cent, which is well ahead of the industry average of four per cent.
