The UK chapter is the largest outside the USA, with nearly 700 members.
To be eligible to take the CPP examination, candidates must have at least nine years? experience in the industry, including three in security management.
Barry is a key member of the security and counter-terrorism team at TPS Consult, the largest such team in the UK.
He contributed to the firm being winner of the ?Best Security Consultant? category in the SMT Security Excellence Awards in 2001, finalist in 2002 and 2003, and shortlisted again for the 2004 awards in two categories, this and the International award.
With over £20m of security projects under way, TPS is consistently at the forefront of its field.
Barry (59) joined TPS Consult in 2000.
He had spent nearly 20 years in military intelligence serving in Germany, the Middle East, Hong Kong and America.
Since leaving the army, he has been employed by national and multi-national companies in security management and security advisory capacities.
