TPS Consult presented a trophy to Defence Estates to mark the end of the ten-year modular control system (MCS) contract.
Airport Simulation Proved By 'Witness' Evidence
A new and innovative software package to model airport operations has been introduced by TPS Consult, the leading UK project management and design consultancy.
Brian Read Rail Director of WA Developments stated that "The system adopted is another result of WA Developments' proactive approach to managing safety".
"It is only through the continued involvement of both management and operational staff in the development of such innovative techniques that the Company will realise its ambition to be the industry leaders in the prevention of work place accidents and incidents".
This award was sponsored by TPS, themselves also champions in Health and Safety.
TPS is one of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary construction design practices and in 2004 was the winner of the Best Safety Innovation from a Designer in the Health and Safety awards, which recognised their work in creating a CDM risk assessment system as an industry innovation.
"Designing for Safety" enables best practice and innovation to be captured from every project.
