TPS, the design and project management division of Carillion Business Services, has appointed Graeme Fyfe as a Trainee M and E (mechanical and electrical) technician.

TPS, the design and project management division of Carillion Business Services, has appointed Graeme Fyfe as a Trainee M and E (mechanical and electrical) technician.

Based at the Edinburgh office, Graeme will be responsible for general CAD (computer aided design) and will provide administration support to the engineering department, while receiving in-house training and aiming to achieve professional engineer status.

This is Graeme's first main job since graduating from Clackmannanshire College in Alloa, where he studied for a HNC electrical engineering.

Graeme will be attending Napier University in September to commence study for a BEng(Hons) electronic and electrical engineering.

He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Incorporated Engineers and a Student Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers.
