The new dates for the Property Care Association training courses and Institute of Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing (IWPD) examinations for 2006 have now been published.

The programme offers training for prospective technicians and surveyors, both in the area of remedial treatment and also in the more specialised area of structural waterproofing.

After attending the Surveyor training, delegates will be full equipped to take the examination for the industry-recognised qualification in each discipline; the Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment (CSRT) and the Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW).

However examination preparation courses are also available for those delegates who feel they need extra support.

This year sees the addition of an examination for Technicians to the programme, and there is also a one-day course for Timber Resin Repair.

Full details of the structural waterproofing courses can be found at www.structuralwaterproofing.org and details of Remedial Treatment courses can be found at www.property-care.org.

To receive a course pack please contact the BWPDA.
