Property Care Association strengthening managerial team with the appointment of Stephen Hodgson as Deputy Director.

Stephen joins the Property Care Association (PCA) at an exciting time as the trade body for damp-proofing, structural water-proofing and structural maintenance professionals expands into new headquarters in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire from its previous site in Derby.

He will be working with PCA chief executive Yasmin Chopin, to take a more developmental role in the trade body's operations and to expand its services and scope.

The Property Care Association has been in existence for four years as part of the British Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing Association (BWPDA), but last year officially became an independent association.

Stephen - a qualified surveyor - had worked for the BWPDA for the past seven years, and latterly the PCA, as technical officer.

Yasmin Chopin, chief executive of the PCA, said: "Stephen has a wealth of experience in the industry and we are delighted he is going to play a pivotal role in leading the Association's growth and expansion.".
