Property Care Association new benefits for members

Property Care Association has secured a deal to provide free health and safety and legal services support for its members.

The leading UK trade body - which represents the damp-proofing, timber preservation, structural waterproofing and structural maintenance industries - has teamed up with employment law specialists Stallard Kane Associates.

The deal gives members a series of benefits including:.

* A telephone hotline offering health and safety and employment law advice.

* Regular newsletters advising on legal issues.

* An annual health and safety update course.

* An annual employment law update course.

* Access to specialist advice documents housed in the "members' area" on the Stallard Kane Associates website.

PCA members will also get the option to upgrade their legal services to include specialist features such as personal visits from a health and safety consultant.

The Association's executive director, Yasmin Chopin, said: "The PCA is the leading trade body for homeowners looking for a professional person to carry out building preservation work.

"We believe this benefit will help our members to continue to offer very high standards of workmanship to their customers.".
