Specialist training for surveyors
Dampness and timber infestation will be under the spotlight at courses for surveyors held by the Property Care Association, the trade body for building preservation.
Two three day courses are being held at the association's Northampton training centre in September and October.
Delegates will study timber infestation and fungi and how to treat it on the first day, damp problems on day two and health and safety regulations and law on day three.
The course is ideal for anyone who needs to learn about the identification and treatment of dampness and is suitable for students studying towards a Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment qualification.
The courses take place between 2 - 4 September and 21 - 23 October, 2008.
