This Premier high efficiency, condensing, floor-standing appliance, performs well above the latest part L requirements of the building regulations and comes in two range-rated outputs.

Although band A or B oil-fired condensing boilers will not be mandatory for new and replacement installations until April 2007, this upgrade from band C would enable buyers immediately to enjoy fuel and cost savings of up to 15% or even 20% compared with a new standard-efficiency boiler, and up to 30% against an existing model installed earlier.

Range-rated outputs of the two sizes are, respectively, 14.6 to 26.3kW (50,000 to 90,000Btu/h) and 29.3 to 36.6kW (100,000 to 125,000Btu/h).

The casing is made of galvanised mild steel with a weatherproof green, textured, stove-enamel finish.

Standard components include an integral flue for low-level side or rear discharge, plus flue terminal guard built in frost thermostat.

Suitable for use with sealed systems, the smaller External model measures 506mm wide by 1005 high by 750 to 980mm deep and the larger one 506mm wide by 1040 high by 805 to 1035mm deep (excludes terminal).

Serviceable from the front, the boilers incorporate pressure-jet burners for clean, quiet, efficient operation.

Particularly suitable in non-gas areas, these form part of a series of Trianco Eurostar Premier oil-fired condensing boilers upgraded to SEDBUK A rating and they offer further options in a wide range of boilers fuelled by oil, gas, electricity and solid fuel.
