Trianco Training Services has added training and assessment to Part P of the building regulations to its already vast portfolio.

Trianco Training Services has added training and assessment to Part P of the building regulations to its already vast portfolio.

Already known as one of the UK's top OFTEC training and assessment centres, this additional programme is important for the heating engineer in terms of consistency.

The 5-day course programme involves 3.5 days of training and 1.5 days of assessment.

Course elements include practical competency, installation fault diagnosis, safe isolation procedures, identification of unsafe electrical situations, external earth fault loop impedance and RCD testing.

Graham Ward, Training Manager for Trianco Training Services comments, "When successful, the candidate will receive certification through BPEC which will enable the individual to carry out defined electrical installation works and be able to self-certificate their own work instead of having to pay the Local Authority Building Control Department inspection fees.".
