Go-anywhere oil boilers

A Trianco Heating Products product story

Trianco EuroStar Premier oil-fired condensing boilers can save customers money and reduce climate-changing pollutant emissions.

Trianco EuroStar Premier oil-fired condensing boilers may be seen as ahead of their time, since the government gave replacement oil boilers until 2007 to conform to the building regulations part L revisions which took effect from April 2005.

Yet these boilers can save customers money and reduce climate-changing pollutant emissions right now.

There are seven models all told, including three for kitchen installation, two under the Eurotrader banner for siting in a garage or boiler-house, and two for placing externally.

For all three applications, there are 50/90 models, range-rated 14.6 to 26.3kW (50,000 to 90,000Btu/h), and 100/125 versions range-rated 29.3 to 36.6kW (100,000 to 125,000Btu/h).

All are rated A in the SEDBUK tables.

The advanced combustion technology used involves a baffle system which cools emissions so that latent heat, usually lost through the flue, is returned to the system to enhance performance while reducing both CO2 and NOx emissions.

For the kitchen, 50/90 (14.6 to 26.3kW) and 100/125 (29.3 to 36.6kW) models can be specified as either standard or system versions.

Blending equally well with a modern or traditional kitchen, and serviceable from the front via a hinged panel, it fits beneath a worksurface of standard height, the boiler measuring 855mm high and 600mm deep to a wall.

Conventional flueing is standard and balanced flue optional.

Eurotrader models have similar flueing arrangements and sealed systems are viable throughout the range.

External models have a weatherproof, textured green galvanised steel casing with stove-enamel finish and are supplied as standard with frost thermostat, flue terminal guard and integral, low-level flue for rear or side discharge.

With rugged reliability built in, the boilers have two-year manufacturer guarantees, plus five years on heat exchangers.

Integrated pre-plumbing and electrics help to overcome concerns about installation and maintenance, both of which are quick and easy, while round 600mm and 1000mm balanced-flue kits allow for all wall thicknesses.

Trianco believes these boilers can save users up to 20% annually on their heating and hot water bills when compared with standard-efficiency alternatives, and up to 30% against boilers installed over ten years ago.

Put another way, these moderately -priced SEDBUK A models allow customers to make substantial savings over a relatively short period of time.
