Following major changes to building regulations Part L on heating efficiency, Trianco is re-emphasising its entry into the dominant gas-fired boilers market sector with up-to-the-minute TriStar Optima models: a condensing combination unit and a condensing system version.

These wall-mounted boilers represent not only the latest generation of high-efficiency boilers but also Trianco's strong pedigree in gas technology.

Both models offer range-rated outputs from 5.6 to 29.7kW (19,500 to 95,500Btu/h) and are rated SEDBUK A.

Domestic hot water flow-rate from the condensing combi is 13.4 litre/min at 30oC temperature rise.

Although competitively priced, the boilers are aimed at the less crowded, quality end of the market and offer a broad range of features.

Unusually, an optimiser for temperature regulation in accordance with outdoor conditions is supplied as standard, ensuring high efficiency when used in conjunction with the (recommended) optional boiler management control unit.

Quiet in use and low in NOx emissions, the boilers feature continuous heating power with a fully modulating Grundfos pump, premix burner with constant gas:air ratio, corrosion-resistant aluminium heat exchanger, monobloc body, sophisticated self-diagnostics and pump anti-seizure provision.

A liquefied petroleum gas conversion kit is available.

Installation, condensate drainage and flueing are all easy, with a choice of horizontal or vertical balanced flue, extension pipes and bends.

Back-up is provided by Trianco's usual fast, efficient service, with training available if required.

Guarantees run for two years and the company also makes oil-fired, solid fuel and electric boilers to suit many and varied applications.
