Aztec electric boiler, where less is more

A Trianco Heating Products product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 5, 2007

The Aztec electric boiler from Trianco is suitable for almost any application in any property and is the perfect heating source where gas or oil is unavailable or where space is at a premium.

The Aztec is the only electric boiler on that market that carries the British Standards Kitemark.

Trianco's successful Aztec range of electric wall-mounted boilers offers outputs from 2kW, with a plug-in boiler, to 12kW; and, in larger properties, they can be installed in any combination to provide a greater heating capacity.

Temperature outputs vary from 50degc to 75degc to supply all forms of heating from underfloor heating systems to conventional radiators with open vent or sealed systems.

This means that they are ideal for heating anything from caravans, loft extensions or conservatories to flats, houses or even factories! Where space is at a premium, the Aztec has the advantages of being fitted vertically and only requires front access for servicing.

Even the largest of the five models measures only 1080mm high x 143mm deep x 165mm wide.

Designed to work on a fully-pumped system, the boilers produce hot water by passing cold water over long-life replaceable stainless steel elements housed in an insulated copper heat exchanger.

A key benefit of the Aztec is that, since it produces no noxious gases, it requires no flue and can be sited virtually anywhere within a property as it does not have to be fixed to an outside wall or near a chimney.

Installation is easy and, in addition to the versatility and space saving advantages, it also boasts an incredible 99.8% efficiency.

Once switched on, the Aztec is fully controlled by an on-board management system that automatically monitors its safety and running functions.

The larger models are fan-assisted, cooling down the PCB to give optimum performance at all times, and a 12mm rear vent effectively prevents over heating.

The Aztec has a durable, white enamel-finished casing, is virtually maintenance-free and is British Gas Service listed.

It has self-diagnostic checking, soft switching to preserve element life and prevents interference, a resettable thermal safety cut-out and is compatible with solar power.

A two-year manufacturer's guarantee provides the installer with peace of mind.
