Free Industrial Water Users Seminars At IWEX
IWEX, the International Water and Effluent Exhibition, 11-13 November 2003, NEC, Birmingham has, for the first time in its long history, announced a series of free seminars.
With the growing legislation surrounding treatment and disposal, the seminars have content for manufacturing industries who are large water users, in addition to content for the traditional water industry/utility buyers and suppliers.
Water plays a key role in many industries including Agriculture/Farming Automotive Brewery/Distillers Chemical manufacturer Commercial Premises Electronics Food/Drinks Hospital/Health authority Metal finishing/Plating Oil/Petrochemicals Paints/Inks Paper/Board Steel manufacturer Textile/Leather tanning The IWEX seminars will help industrial water learn from case studies from other water users and find new and innovative products from monitoring systems to pumps to help you manufacture more efficiently.
Plus British Water will be hosting a seminar on how to get tax relief on new treatment equipment.
The seminars also cover a wide range of topics from sustainability to specialist engineering topics such as Trenchless technology.
In addition to the seminars, over 200 companies will be exhibiting new products and services to help users keep abreast, there will be an Opening Address from Elliot Morley, MP,Minister for Fisheries, Water and Nature Protection.
Plus a keynote address from Dr Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Director for the Environment, and Chair of the Environment Sector Board of the World Bank Group on World Water Resources - Impact of Population Growth and meeting the needs of it's Environment.
The event is a must-attend for Chemical, Civil.Design, Electrical, Mechanical and Process Engineers and management of any water treatment or supply operation.
