Turret appoints new editor for Finishing magazine

John Hatcher has been appointed managing editor of Finishing magazine, Uxbridge-based Turret Group's longest running title.

John Hatcher has been appointed managing editor of Finishing magazine, Uxbridge-based Turret Group's longest running title.

Hatcher returns the title after a six year absence and plans to develop the title to deliver more technical and industry news.

" The surface treatment industry has been in the doldrums for a number of years, but last year we saw new optimism".

"The recent re-design of the title has been well received and I plan to build on this by introducing a number of new columns plus regular features for production managers responsible for metal finishing and trade finishing houses alike." " There's so much news around for the market - from the demise of Rover and the knock on effects for our readers to the latest health and safety legislation".

"I'm really looking forward to being part of this market once more," commented Hatcher".
