Travis Perkins merchanting park makes UK debut

E Travis Perkins Group opened its first dedicated merchanting park in Edinburgh featuring separate branches for Travis Perkins, City Plumbing Supplies and CCF.

The Travis Perkins Group opened its first dedicated merchanting park in Edinburgh on Monday 22 October at the Pentland Industrial Estate in Loanhead.

Featuring three of the Group's merchant brands, the site comprises of separate branches for Travis Perkins, City Plumbing Supplies and CCF.

The branches will offer the trade a comprehensive range of building, plumbing and interiors products in a convenient, catch-all location.

The opening of the Loanhead site comes ahead of the Travis Perkins Group's plans to open further merchanting parks across the UK to cater for the growing demand from its trade customers.

Martin Meech, Group Property Director, commented: "The opening of our first merchant park represents an extremely important development for the Travis Perkins Group and demonstrates that we have listened to the needs of our customers".

"Housing three different merchant brands on one site means that trade customers can have access to a wider range of products and services".

The branches at the Loanhead site supply a wide range of different products to the trade professional.

Travis Perkins offers building materials and timber in the volumes needed to get the job done, backed up by tool and equipment hire.

City Plumbing Supplies specialises in heating, radiators, boilers, bathrooms, showers, drainage and guttering and also supplies renewable energy products in response to growing consumer demand for eco-friendly solutions.

CCF is a specialist in ceilings, drywalls, screeding, insulation, partitioning and fire protection that offers a core product range that is never out of stock.
