Building better career prospects
Travis Perkins launch new website dedicated to its management training programme for young people that are looking for a career in the building and construction industry.
The website details what the 120 successful applicants can expect from the two year course The micro-site also showcases a range of short films about former trainees, facts and figures about the Travis Perkins Group, and an insight into its various brands and businesses

The Travis Perkins Management Training Scheme was launched in 1974 and has seen thousands of people successfully complete the course, including the company's current Chief Operating Officer, John Carter.
The Group holds a unique position in the recruitment market, with its scheme lasting for two years, opposed to the typical one year employed other graduate and recruitment schemes.
This two year training period ensures the trainees gain an extensive understanding of the Travis Perkins Group's business and the management principles needed to do their job, as well as a valued, external qualification.
