Treatex has launched a range of finishes for concrete that offer first-class protection and dust-reducing properties as well as the option of enhancing surfaces through colour.

Treatex Concrete Finishes are ideal for use in situations where concrete dust may be an issue, such as car-parks, garages and loading bays, as well as where architects may wish to create statement facades, or to provide a fresh look for many existing, dull concrete structures.

Neil Clark of Treatex explains the appeal: "Lots of our townscapes in the UK are afflicted with unexciting concrete buildings - thanks to these products they can be transformed using a range of funky colours whilst sealing in dust and protecting the building".

"It's a great way to liven up an otherwise uninspiring structure, and eco-friendly to boot!".

Treatex concrete finishes are made using only high quality natural ingredients and leave no harmful residues whilst producing a micro porous, water repellent and fire resistant surface.

Treated surfaces are also resistant to grease, oil and most other chemicals.

Suitable for use on floors, walls, paths and more, the protector / hardener penetrates deeply into the surface increasing the hardness by 34%.

The concrete finishes also significantly reduce potentially harmful concrete dust which can cause problems in enclosed areas and those surfaces that are in regular use such as car parks and concrete buildings.

In addition, a range of colours can be used to enhance the surface and when used outdoors in conjunction with Treatex's concrete base and concrete emulsion, UV resistance is increased.

Treatex concrete finishes are quick and easy to apply and are ideal for application in both commercial and residential installations.

Treatex concrete cleaning solution is also available and it is recommended that this is used to clean surfaces before treatment.

After use all tools can be simply cleaned using just soap and water, eliminating the harmful effects on the environment that result from chemical cleansers.
