Palazzetti joins Thermar stable
Palazzetti range of Italian-designed wood pellet-burning stoves is now available from Thermar Limited, specialists in alternative heating solutions and equipment.
The stylish range of Palazzetti Ecofire wood pellet-burning stoves are manufactured in a selection of designs and colours, ideal for both contemporary and traditionally styled homes.
Models provided include heat-only stoves with options for ducted air, or 'wet' models that can provide heat for up to 15 radiators.
Heat outputs range from 6.3kW to 24kW depending on the model.
"Environmental issues as well as well as recent fuel price rises have contributed to increasing interest in renewable and low carbon alternatives, and wood pellets are a very realistic solution," says Melvin Hartley, Sales and Marketing Director at Thermar.
"Palazzetti is already an established brand, and one that carries with it the style and design choices homeowners are looking for from heating appliances that enable them to reduce their homes' carbon footprint, whilst controlling fuel bills," he adds.
"The company has an enviable reputation across Europe, both for the quality of its products and its commitment to continued technological advancement in efficient wood combustion, which make it an unrivalled leader in the production of efficient domestic wood pellet stoves that add a new dimension to home heating".
Around ninety percent heat efficient, the Palazzetti Ecofire stove range boasts a maximum heat output of 13kw and in the central heating models, up to 24kw.
A fan distributes the heat evenly throughout the room and provides options for ducting to other rooms, whilst its 7mm thick cast iron firebox ensures maximum heat recovery and durability.
The Ecofire range offers extraordinary operating autonomy - one load of wood pellets gives controllable heat for up to 100 hours, depending on the model.
Once the pellets have been loaded into the integral pellet box, the stove automatically adjusts its output to maintain the pre-set room temperature.
All Palazzetti stoves are completely automatic, including ignition, and are programmable for up to 7 days, with a digital LCD panel featuring clear and easy to operate user settings and instant controls.
Some Ecofire models are compatible with a remote control facility, so the power of the fire and the fan speed can be adjusted remotely - and even commanded via the internet, phone, or by a text message.
The wood pellets used are carbon-neutral, being made entirely from compressed sawdust and shavings from sawmills processing timber from sustainable managed forests.
They are either 6mm in diameter, and up to 3cm long, and are available from a number of suppliers across the UK.
The Ecofire stoves are manufactured to the highest European performance and safety standards and are easy to install, either in new build or existing homes.
"As well as stocking a comprehensive range of the Palazzetti wood pellet-burning stoves, accessories and flue components, Thermar has support in place for spare parts and service, including training for installers," adds Melvin.
