The company is offering architects and other construction professionals a RIBA approved CPD seminar on "Structural Waterproofing".

Triton, a leading supplier of waterproofing systems, including Isola Platon cavity drain membranes, has become a member of the RIBA CPD Providers Network.

The company is offering architects and other construction professionals a RIBA approved CPD seminar on "Structural Waterproofing", which focuses on the use of cavity drain membranes in basement waterproofing and will appeal to architects involved in domestic, commercial and historic or conservation projects.

The seminar explains how cavity drain membrane systems differ from tanking systems by continuing to allow the water to enter the building, controlling it behind the membrane and diverting it to a suitable drainage point.

Key benefits include the speed of installation achieved by eliminating the need for extensive substrate preparation.

Cavity drain membranes are also used as a waterproofing layer to allow the installation of a wooden floor (including sports floors) before the concrete slab has completely cured.
