Tri-Gel, Triton's cost effective and guaranteed gel treatment for rising damp, has been awarded a BBA certification.

Tri-Gel, Triton's cost effective and guaranteed gel treatment for rising damp, has been awarded a BBA certification Tri-Gel, which was introduced 18 months ago as part of Triton's range of remedial building systems, immediately became popular with contractors as it eliminates the use of electric pumps on site and speeds up what used to be a slow and awkward job

It can be injected into the wall using either a cartridge gun or a hand operated compression pump.

Triton now anticipates an even wider adoption of this already successful product following the BBA certification - particularly in local authority and other specified works.

Tri-Gel's BBA certification (Detail Sheet 6) is incorporated under Triton's BBA Certificate no.

95/3210 for the company's Tri-Ject Damp Coursing System.

A water based and water soluble thixotropic gel which diffuses naturally into damp substrates, Tri-Gel reacts to form a water repellent silicone resin network within the capillaries of the substrate.

This network is permeable to water vapour which means that the walls can "breathe" and dry out naturally.

Tri-Gel, is available in 1 litre cartridges designed to fit into a large skeleton gun, or 5 litre tubs for contractors who prefer to work with a compression pump.
