Tudor extends its under tile ventilation system

A Tudor Roof Tile product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 17, 2010

Tudor Roof Tile, the independent handmade roof tile manufacturer, has extended its under tile ventilation system to include warm as well cold roof applications.

Completely concealed from view, this discrete system is suitable for new build and large scale roof renovation projects in areas of historic sensitivity, where modern tile vents can be considered aesthetically inappropriate.

Originally developed and patented by Tudor in co-operation with County Planning Building Control, the under tile ventilation takes advantage of the large degree of cross camber found in most Tudor roof tiles.

This allows an average venting space of 480mm per tile, or approximately 9,000mm for 12 tiles.

Tudor's concealed under tile venting system is easy to install and complies with relevant building regulations; for roof space venting, mechanical and soil pipe.

Tudor roof tiles and under tile venting systems are available from leading roofing and builders merchants.
