Sprint V flue gas analyser wins CORGI award

Telegan's Sprint V multi-purpose flue gas analyser was named 'Gas Safety Product of the Year' at the prestigious CORGI Awards ceremony, held at the RICOH Arena in Coventry.

Telegan's exclusive industry partner, Anton, was also recognised for the part it played in bringing the innovative product to market.

Dubbed the 'Oscars of the Gas Industry', the CORGI Awards are an annual event recognising those people, products and companies committed to gas safety and improving standards in the industry.

The glittering ceremony was hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre, a regular on TV shows 'Mock the Week' and 'Have I Got News for You?'.

"We are delighted that the innovative design and functionality of the Sprint V has been recognised at the CORGI Awards," said Telegan's Managing Director Warren Rees.

"The award is especially valued as it is based on the votes of engineers who use the product every day when installing, commissioning and servicing gas systems and appliances".

"It also confirms what we and our customers have always known, that the Sprint V is simply one of the most versatile, easy to use gas analysers on the market".

"We would particularly like to congratulate Grant Bleakley, Anton's Managing Director, as well as Mike Windsor and the rest of the Anton team, who have been tireless in helping us develop the Sprint V range to the point where it is now regarded as the industry standard," added Rees.

The Sprint V is Bluetooth-enabled and features a flue gas analyser, a differential thermometer, a differential manometer, a carbon monoxide room safety monitor and a gas escape detector with gooseneck probe and ultra-bright LED searchlight as standard - all in one small handheld unit.

An important feature of the Sprint V is 'Smart Purge' technology, which saves battery, pump and filter life, enables intelligent purging for switch-on and switch-off, and allows the purging of gas while other tests are being carried out.

Commenting on the Awards the judges said, "When selecting all the winners we were so impressed by such outstanding examples of best practice and hope to see all these approaches rolled out to wider audiences for the good of the industry as a whole".
