Coventry City Council's Moat House School Project wins 'Community Benefit' at RICS West Midlands Awards 2006
Coventry City Council's Moat House Primary School has won the 'Community Benefit' category at the RICS Awards 2006 following it's award of 'Best New Building' at the Coventry Design Awards in 2005 Judges of the 'Community Benefit' category at the RICS Awards said that Moat House Primary School's achievement "lay in its success with local children and its merit of being a dual purpose building for the young and old"

The school caters for the majority of the community by offering the facilities of an Early Years Centre, Wrap-Around Care Facilities and an Adult Education Centre.
International construction and management consultant Turner and Townsend acted as cost manager on the GBP4.5m project and continue to work closely and collaboratively with Coventry City Council and Coventry NDC (New Deals for Coventry).
