Designs on new Ipswich campus
Turner and Townsend appointed via the OGC framework to oversee Phase One master planning and development project for Ipswich Hub of University Campus Suffolk.
A state-of-the-art building is on its way to the Ipswich Education Quarter, following the appointment of the building project team for University Campus Suffolk's Ipswich base Turner and Townsend Construction and Management Consultants have been appointed via the OGC framework to oversee the Phase One master planning and development project for the Ipswich Hub of University Campus Suffolk (UCS)

Working in partnership with RMJM architects and Faber Maunsell structural and environmental engineers, Turner and Townsend will plan and develop the Ipswich Waterfront and part of the current Suffolk College site.

Turner and Townsend will start work immediately on the project and the first designs are expected to be ready for the UCS team to consider in around three months time.
The building team have been given the brief to design a GBP20 million plus landmark building, which is due to be completed by 2008 in time to welcome the second intake of students to UCS.
