A new extension to the Omni Park shopping centre in Santry, North Dublin featuring a new retail mall, office development and 800 space multi-storey car park, is on track for a March 2006 completion.

Situated between Dublin Airport and the City Centre, the new fashion mall at Omni Park will provide an additional 17,000m2 of retail space incorporating 35 units.

Healy Kelly Turner Townsend (HKTT) are acting as Project and Cost Managers on the development and used fast track construction methods in order to ensure the initial phase was completed ahead of 2005 Christmas trading, whilst the existing mall maintained operations throughout the construction period.

Martin Londra, Director of HKTT said: "This extension will bring much needed additional space to the Centre in order to accommodate international retailers looking for increasingly larger units".

Existing traders in the "village-style" development include Tesco, Homebase, Penneys and Specsavers.

Agents are Jones Lang LaSalle and NAI Mason Owen and Lyons.
