International construction and management consultant Turner and Townsend is celebrating another year of excellence in Australia as it strengthens its brand by dropping the Rawlinsons name and now trading as Turner and Townsend Pty The business, which currently employs more than 160 people across the eight Australian offices, has enjoyed considerable growth since it merged with Rawlinsons eighteen months ago with the support of Turner and Townsend's global resource of over 2,400 staff in 53 offices worldwide

Managing Director, Harry Carrick said: "The successful integration of Turner and Townsend and Rawlinsons in Australia has led to an increase in turnover of 30% as well as welcoming an extra 50 members of staff to the business".

He continued: "In moving forward, we will play a key role in representing Turner and Townsend's integrated global business in our region".
"We have already experienced a few highlights in 2007 with the appointment as consultant on the South Australian Government's Prisons PPP, a great arrival present for Director Peter Jones who joined us from London office in March".
"We have also expanded our service offering to include sustainability consultancy".
"This service benefits from Turner and Townsend's established international sustainability business which has contributed to a range of projects in the worldwide market".
