Sixteen runners from Turner and Townsend's Glasgow and Edinburgh Offices took part in last weekends Edinburgh Marathon competing in four teams in the 'Hairy Haggis' relay race There was the normal sporting rivalry between the two offices and all teams put in a terrific performance in the wet and windy conditions with the Glasgow teams just having the edge on the day

Considerable funds were raised for charity by all the teams which was a super effort by all concerned.

The supported charities were Price and Princess of Wales Hospice, Breast Cancer Care Scotland, Maggie's Centre and British Heart Foundation.

After the business end of the day was over, all Glasgow and Edinburgh teams retired to a local holstery for some well deserved refreshment and repartee bringing to an end what was a fantastically successful and fulfilling day for all who took part and contributed on behalf of Turner and Townsend.
