The Tile and Stone Show second success
Following a hugely successfully three day event, The Tile and Stone Show 2008 is celebrating the success of its second annual show.
The high profile exhibition, hosted at London's ExCeL Centre earlier this month, attracted over 120 worldwide exhibitors from all sectors of the industry In addition to a stunning array of stands, visitors enjoyed a comprehensive events programme and unique show features, including the debut of the Artisan Pavilion, seminars from high profile industry figures, a full itinerary of practical demonstrations, TTA Live Tiling Competition and the BCT Tile Design Competition

The Tile and Stone Show 2008 returns to Excel
Following the huge success of its launch show, dates for The Tile and Stone Show 2008 have been confirmed.
Seminar hosts taking to the rostrum included acclaimed designer, Wayne Hemingway, Conran Design, Lesley Day from The Tile Association, David Richardson BRE, Chris Blanchett and marketing expert Leo Aspden.
Meanwhile, exhibitors hosting live practical demos, within the show's Demonstration Zone, included Bosch - Rotozip, Benfer, Diamond Jack, Kerakoll UK, Mapei and Plasplugs.
The hugely popular TTA Live Tiling Competition, which returned for the second year, saw six expert fixers - Peter Breathwick, Michael Alexander Smith, John Hill, Stephen Elliot, Maciek Faron and Alan Milne - creating stunning 'free design' showcases within the central arena.
The winner, Alan Milne, received this year's prestigious award, for "complexity and completeness of design," from TTA's Lesley Day.
Meanwhile, the BCT Tile Design Competition, which attracted over 70 entrants and celebrated industry newcomers, was won by Charlotte Pearce, who is studying Fashion and Textile Design at Liverpool John Moores University.
