Tyco Thermal Controls has announced that it is to relocate operations to its recently opened UK headquarters at Washington, Tyne and Wear.

As a result of the significant growth in its heat-tracing business, Tyco Thermal Controls has outgrown the facility it shared with Tyco Electronics in Swindon and announced that it is to relocate operations to its recently opened UK headquarters at Washington, Tyne and Wear.

The move into this larger purpose-built facility is scheduled for September.

Tyco Thermal Controls is the world market leader in commercial construction and industrial heat-tracing systems, under its renowned Raychem, T2, Isopad, Pyrotenax and Tracer brands.

It provides the commercial construction industry with heat-tracing solutions for floor heating, frost protection, hot water temperature maintenance and ramp heating systems.

The new UK Headquarters facility will also be a centre of excellence and base for the Tracer industrial project management team, which offers expertise in heat-tracing design and systems technologies to manufacturing and processing industry around the world.

The move to its new UK facility at Washington is the latest stage in Tyco Thermal Controls' major expansion programme, which commenced last year with the opening of a purpose-built European HQ and Distribution Centre at Lubbeek, Belgium.
