Raychem T2QuickNet underfloor heating mats, manufactured by Tyco Thermal Controls, have been installed in the bathrooms in the Granton Harbour waterside development.

Raychem T2QuickNet underfloor heating mats, manufactured by Tyco Thermal Controls, have been installed in the bathrooms of 216 luxury apartments in the Granton Harbour waterside development at Leith, near Edinburgh.

The systems were purchased by developer Gregor Shore, through the Hawkhill (Edinburgh) branch of Edmundson Electrical, as part of a building materials package.

Tyco Thermal Controls has supported this project further by providing Edmundson Electrical with logistical support from its European Distribution Centre.

Ultra-thin Raychem T2QuickNet mats provide the ideal solution for safe and effective underfloor heating in 'drained' areas (bathrooms etc) They are quick and easy to install and are available in two formats - the popular 90W/sq.m.

version and a 160W/sq.m.

version for applications requiring higher output.

Gregor Shore considered the higher power version the optimum choice for this application as it was to be the sole heat-source in the bathrooms and also provided the benefit of a faster heat-up.

Raychem-T2 underfloor heating systems are PVC-free and emit no electric and negligible magnetic fields - making them completely safe for use in domestic properties.

Tyco Thermal Controls supports its systems with a 12 year manufacturer's triple-warranty.
